Why would you want a super-stiff 5in travel hardtail anyway? The traditional manufacturers mantra would have you believe the stiffer the better- but twenty years of developing some of the finest suspension systems and hardtail frames on the planet has taught Pace otherwise.
Which is why we’ve developed a unique combination of features into the 305s’ tubeset so as to provide its multi-award winning ride quality.
Ultra-large diameter head and downtubes connect the steering head to the BB to create an uncompromising ‘connected’ platform from which you can blitz the trail. But coupled with that the frame must provide feel and grip so to stop you being bounced all over trail we’ve purposely engineered flex into the multi-butted top, seat and chain stay tubes. You’ll surprise yourself (and your mates on following FS bikes) as you finesse up the next root infested ascent or climb off after a big day in the hills without having to stretch out the pain in your lower back.
And for ‘08 we’ve carved away a few more grams by redesigning the seat stay profile and dropouts - plus an anodised option to make cleaning up a little easier after a muddy ride.
